ABOUT ME
Since I first stepped into yoga school in Krakow (my home city), at the age of 20, I knew that is the thing I was looking for. Yoga brought a meaning to my life, enriched it in many aspects. After a few years of intensive practice I decided to share the joy of yoga with other people and became a teacher. In 2007, I finished Teacher’s Training Course in Orzechowo Morskie- the first Internationa Yoga Vedanta Centre course in Poland. It was led by Swami Atmaramananda, personal assistant of the late Swami Vishnu- devananda and a head of Sivananda Vedanta Centre in Berlin. Since October 2007 I’ve been a teacher at the Ananda yoga school in Krakow. At the moment, I teach in numerous venues in Edinburgh, including Aditi Yoga Centre, Balmoral Spa, the Yoga Room and the Sangha. I work also with people suffering from multiple sclerosis. As a teacher, I try to encourage my students to find their inner potential they might have not even been aware of.
In my free time, I cook vegetarian dishes, read good literature and learn languages. I love travelling: I’ve visited over 20 countries but, my greatest dream- a journey to India- is still unfulfilled. I’m deeply interested in society and different cultures. I’ve finished an MA in sociology at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and MA in social anthropology at the University of Edinburgh.
